(X) Tesla successfully completed the world’s first autonomous delivery of a vehicle in which the car drove him to the new owner’s place, which was a groundbreaking moment for autonomous vehicle technology. The Tesla model Y took the trip start of the company’s gigafactory in Austin, Texas, to a customer’s home that was about 30 minutes away – all without a driver behind the wheel. A first in self -managed technology The 30 -minute journey was taken on a video released by Tesla on Saturday. The footage filmed from the back seat shows that the Electric Vehicle (EV) highways, intersections, traffic signals and city streets are completely on its own. The car also followed the traffic rules strictly, made smooth turns and responded to signals and stopped signs without any human intervention. The Model Y parked itself under the owner’s building at the end of the trip. The milestone event was widely shared online, with Tesla released a three-minute time-run teaser for the first time, followed by a full 30-minute video. The Tesla CEO celebrates the milestone that Elon Musk responded to X (formerly Twitter) to X (formerly Twitter) with a one word ‘kapow!’ In a follow -up post, he wrote: ‘There were no people in the car at all and no remote operators in charge at any time. Fully autonomous! ‘ He added: “To the best of our knowledge, it is the first fully autonomous ride with no people in the car or the car on a public highway.” A success after some disruptions earlier, on June 22, Tesla’s testing of his long -awaited robotaxi in Austin had a shaky start. Videos taken by passengers showed that Tesla’s Model Y vehicles suddenly brake, do faster, improper waste, enter the wrong lane and drive over a curb, according to Reuters. Earlier this month, Musk named the Robotaxi launch as well as the self-managed delivery on X. He revealed that Tesla wants millions of robotics on the road in the future. Musk also wants Tesla to produce many optimus humanoid robots to increase the growth of the business, as EV sales in places such as North America and Europe slow down.
