Case filed against Kerala rapper, BJP accused of blaspheming the prime minister; Also commented on Hindu Community - BJP Leader lies complaint against the popular Kerala Rapper Vedan for the song Targeting PM Modi
Pti, Palakkad. A BJP leader from BJP filed a complaint against rapper and lyricist Vedan in Palakkad, Kerala. The woman claimed that the lyric through her music, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through her music promoted the cupboards discrimination. Vs Minimol, PalakKad municipal body councilor, wrote a letter to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and NIA requested to take action against the rapper. He claims that a song of vedan made derogatory remarks about the prime minister and used inflammatory language to divide the Hindu community on the basis of cabinets. In the complaint of offensive remarks against the prime minister, Minimol said that the rapper made unfounded, derogatory and offensive remarks about the prime minister, which not only damages his personal and political image, but also an insult to the dignity of the country’s greatest constitutional position. The complaint also mentions Vedan’s previous legal record. Vedan was also arrested on April 28 for the recovery of hemp in his Tripunithura apartment near Kochi.
