Ahmedabad's Atrea Orchid Society caught fire, a short circuit feared
Ahmedabad, April 29 (IANS). A fire broke out in the Atreya Archid Society near Indira Bridge in Ahmedabad. The fire started on the fourth floor of the apartment and spread quickly to the fifth floor. Due to the fire, there was chaos in society and people in the area were panicked. According to the information, the clear cause of the fire has not yet been revealed, but the initial investigation is feared that there is a possibility for a short circuit and an AC fire. Once the incident was reported, 10 vehicles and five fire -brigade ambulances reached the place. The fire department immediately began relief and rescue operations. Especially ‘Jhula’ (tap -based rescue platform) was used to evacuate people trapped in the nearby apartments. Five people were rushed to the hospital, where they undergo treatment. Fire officer Amit Dongre said the fire spread from the fourth floor to the fifth floor, where the interior work was underway. As a result, the fire spread very quickly and thick smoke. We evacuated about 20 to 25 people. Initial investigation revealed that the fire had arisen due to an explosion in an AC outdoor air unit. The exact cause of the fire and other information is being investigated. Apart from Ahmedabad, the news of fire also came to light from Pune in Maharashtra. A sudden fire broke out on Tuesday in an unauthorized tire store in the Chakan Shakrapur Road in Karandi village Shirur Taluka, Pune. This fire was so terrible that 7-8 shops and wagons in the area also came in its grip, causing heavy chaos in the area. According to eyewitnesses, processing is done by burning old tires in the tire store. The whole process was underway without the government’s permission and this store was completely unauthorized.
