There was a lump,” Kia’s mother, Vera Gusneti, said Monday (4/14/2025). Vera said that Kia initially had repeated fever. After being taken to the hospital and underwent a CT scan, Kia was diagnosed with malignant Lipoma. Over time, his body became thinner and even found fluent in his lungs that had to be sucked several times. “The results of the CT scan, Kia, are exposed to Lipomas, but it is a malignant lipoma,” Vera explained. “During Lipoma his body was thin. In the lungs there was also a liquid,” he added. Vera explained that Kia was treated and performed a suction process of fluids in her lungs. However, the conditions are still not as expected. “For the treatment of Lipoma, Kia gets medicine. For fluids in her lungs, it has been sucked several times,” Vera explained. In the midst of the family struggle to heal Kia, help from members of the Indonesian parliament and chairman of the West Sumatra Gerindra Party DPD, Andre Rosiade. By a team led by the Deputy Chairman of the West Sumatra Gerindra DPD, Nurhaida, cash aid of RP5 million and food packages was handed directly to the KIA family. “I am the parents of Kia and thank Mr. Andre Rosiade for helping our family. Hopefully what you did is answered by God,” Vera said after receiving direct cash aid (BLT) and groceries. Nurhaida said the help is a form of Andre Rosiade’s concerns that were moved after hearing the state of Kia. “After getting information from Mr. Andre, we were immediately sent to visit Kia and hand over Mr. Andre. This is a fund of RP5 million and groceries. Hopefully this money can be used as well as possible for the purposes of KIA treatment,” Nurhaida hoped. The head of the local RT, Tarmizi and Community Social Officer (PSM) Yola Tricilia also expressed its appreciation for the help Andre Rosiade gave. “Thank you to Mr. Andre Rosiade for helping our citizens suffering from lipomas who are currently waiting for treatment in the hospital,” they said.
