Ambuja elements earn the highest profit of Rs 5,158 crore ever in FY 25
Ahmedabad, April 29 (IANS). Adaani Group’s cement and building material business Ambuja Cements released the results on Tuesday. The company’s profit in FY 25 increased by 9 percent to Rs 5.158 crore annually. With this, the production capacity of the business increased to 100 million tonnes per year (MTPA). With this capacity, Ambuja Cements became the ninth largest cement business in the world. The company said the revenue in FY 25 increased by 6 percent to Rs 35.045 crore annually. In the past financial year, the company’s annual volume has risen by 10 percent to 65.2 million tonnes annually. In the fourth quarter of FY 25, the company registered an ebitda of Rs 1.868 crore. This increased by 10 percent annually. It was recorded by the company in one quarter, most ebitda ever. At the same time, the company’s profit in the quarter at independent basis increased by 75 percent to Rs 929 crore. Vinod Bhetti, a full -time director and CEO of Ambuja Cements, said: “This year is a historical milestone in the journey of ambuja elements as we crossed the 100 MTPA capacity. 100 mtpa mile pole is not just a number, it is a symbol of our ambition, power and purpose. Ambuja Cements also employed 299 MW Renewable Energy (RE) power capacity from the total 1,000 MW and the remaining will be received by June 2026.
