Case of corruption in Uttar Pradesh Rera, accountant arrested red -handed bribes
Noida, April 26 (IANS). Another case of corruption came to light in Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP Rera). Anti -Corruption Team Meerut on Saturday arrested Harendra Goswami, an accountant placed in the UP Rera office and took a bribe of five thousand rupees. The accused is accused of demanding bribes instead of worrying about the delay in possession. The case is related to Kuldeep Kumar who works as assistant director in the Department of Economic Affairs of the Union Ministry of Finance. In 2014, Kuldeep booked an apartment in the ‘Achar Holmes’ project in Sector-10, Greater Noida. According to the rules, the possession of the apartment would be found in 2018, but the developer did not take the Career Certificate (OC) or the Certificate of Certificate (CC) nor hand over possession in 2019. The builder also claimed an additional four lakh calls. Kuldeep filed a complaint of this irregularity in UP Rera. The appeal filed by the builder after the investigation was rejected in June 2022. Nevertheless, Kuldeep has not been able to get a valid possession over the past three years and the builder was fined. Meanwhile, the accountant Harendra Goswami asked Culedeep to get a 50 thousand bribes to get his job done early. When Kuldeep expressed his inability to give such a large amount, Harendra suggested to give five thousand rupees immediately and the remaining amount later. On this, Kuldeep contacted the anti -corruption team and filed a complaint. Once Harendra Goswami took a bribe of five thousand rupees under the pre -planned scheme, the anti -corruption team caught him red -handed. Legal steps are taken after the accused was brought to Beta-2 Kotwali. The victim Kuldeep said that, despite being a central officer, he wandered for justice for three years. Now he wants Rera to improve and get the victims ready in time. -Ians pkt/Ekd shares this story tags
