The Supreme Council of Universities, in its periodic meeting, which was held headed by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, approved today, Saturday, in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, Presidents of Universities, in the Rehab University of Menoufia headed by Dr. Ahmed Al -Qassed, President of the University, the minutes of the Supreme Council for Education and Student Affairs meeting held on May 15.

It was also agreed to allow students graduates of the Information Technology School in Ismailia and the (i -Tech) school, graduates of applied technology schools specializing (IT technology – artificial intelligence – software), and graduates of WeT Applied Technology who have 75% and more of the total degrees of diploma, by performing tests in (Sports 1- Sports 2 – Physics – English Language) to join a college Computer and artificial intelligence, as of the 2025 batch, provided that they have an opportunity within two consecutive years calculated from the year of obtaining the qualification.

The spokesperson added that it was decided to exempt graduates of outstanding schools in science and technology (STEM) from the rules of geographical distribution in place when they were nominated to university colleges through electronic coordination, and it was also decided to exempt them from academic expenses in public programs in government universities except for the first division, and their continued enjoyment of this feature in the event that they obtain a very good grade of at least (or the equivalent of a cumulative rate according to what It is decided by the University Council) at the end of each academic group during the first university stage, with a fixed percentage of scholarships for graduates of outstanding schools in science and technology (STEM) in programs for the relevant colleges, namely (medicine – pharmacy – dentistry – veterinary medicine – engineering – science – computers and information), and the ratio is determined according to the numbers of both university From the concerned colleges and determines after the first division, and their continued enjoyment of this grant in the event of a very good grade of grade (or the equivalent of a cumulative rate according to what the University Council decides) at the end of each academic group during the first university stage.
