AIMPLB asks for stir against WAQF Act, appeal to hold the light on April 30 for 15 minutes
New -Delhi, April 29 (IANS). The All India Muslim Personal Legal Council (AIMPLB) on Tuesday called on the Muslim community to hold 15 minutes for 15 minutes on Wednesday to protest against the WAQF Act. AIMPLB has called on the people to keep the lights of their homes, offices and businesses off from 9pm to 21:15 on April 30 to protest against the recent amendments in the WAQF Act. In a statement, it is said that the amended WAQF Act is controversial, discriminatory and unlike the Constitution. Aimplb said in an official statement: “We all fellow citizens, especially Muslims, minority communities, marginalized and deprived classes, movements in civil society and all the people who are ready to unite against this government’s injustice and oppression and to close their homes, shops, shops and business centers for only 15 minutes at April 30 at 9 pm and SQR Ilyas, Spoksperson of the Muslim Show. Cities held, as well as round table meetings with fellow citizens and civil society. Hyderabad parliamentary member of Hyderabad said that the law the Constitution of India, especially fundamental rights, contrary to the operation of the WAQF board.
