After all, why did America go so much a big secret on India, Premier said in a 35 -minute conversation
The relationship between India and America was stressful for a few days. The situation worsened due to the announcement of the heavy tariff by Donald Trump, but it began long ago. Trump’s conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not good, especially after the ceasefire between Pakistan and India. Bloomberg explained in his report how a 35-minute conversation between Modi-Trump caused damage to Indo-American relationships. In this conversation, Modi allegedly talked to Trump about Pakistan. According to the report, Donald Trump repeatedly demanded arbitration on May 10 following a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. India denied it and the relationship between the two countries became stressful. An interesting turn came on June 17 in this whole incident, when Narendra Modi spoke to Trump on the phone for 35 minutes. This took place during the G-7 Summit in Canada. Trump left before Modi reached this program. In such a situation, the two leaders talked on the phone. We do not accept arbitration. The Bloomberg report claims that Modi clearly said during the telephone conversation with Trump that there is no third party (America) in the ceasefire with Pakistan. After the request of Pakistan, the ceasefire between the two countries was discussed and agreed. Modi has made it clear that India’s policy is not mediation and that it will continue to do so. The report states that the case worsened by Trump’s invitation to the Pak Army Chief for lunch. Modi wanted to clear his position on Munir’s hosting by Trump in the White House. India had no objection to Trump’s meeting with the leaders of the Pakistani government, but objected to Munir’s hosting. However, Trump ignored Narendra Modi’s concern. Modi rejected the invitation during which Trump asked Narendra Modi to come to America, but Modi was worried that Trump could meet him and Munir. As such, Modi rejected the invitation to stay in the White House when he returned from Canada. Prime Minister Modi rejected Trump’s invitation, saying he was committed to going to Croatia. After this, Trump and his administration saw a major change in attitude towards India. Trump has begun to attack India in public. Trump even called India’s economy dead. He then announced that he would impose 25 and then 50% rates on India. This tension continues and there is no dialogue between the top leaders of both countries. Share this story -tags
