Union Minister Chirag Paswan wrote a letter to Bihar’s chief minister Nitish Kumar in which they expressed concern about the damage caused by rain and strong winds in the field, and called on appropriate compensation and assistance. The president of LJP (Ram Vilas), Chirag Paswan, said in a letter to the Chief Minister that the horrific and untimely rain in different districts Bihar recently had a very painful impact on the Boers. Wheat crops that are ready to cook in the field are destroyed due to heavy rain. Farmers have now reached a state of frustration and despair. Crops in the fields now rot, which drowned together the hard work, expectations and livelihoods of the Boers. Chirag further wrote: “This heinous natural disaster has created a crisis of life before the millions of state farmers. Given the seriousness of the situation, it is very important to take quick and concrete steps to protect the lives and future of the Boers.” He further wrote in the letter that his party demands that untimely rain be declared as state disaster, so that immediate assistance can be provided to the farmers affected by the disaster relief fund. In addition, the immediate survey campaign at the state level must be conducted, so that the farmers concerned can be compensated shortly after they correctly assessed the damage. Through the letter, he also asked relief to the farmers concerned for agricultural loans, announced the special relief scheme for the upcoming crop and food items, medical facilities and animal feed, etc. Provided to the farmers to the farmers by taking a special help campaign in the districts concerned.
