Action on Bangladeshi -Infilters across the country has tightened, many arrests
New -Delhi, April 27 (IANS). Police and security agencies in different countries have acted strictly against citizens in Bangladesh who live illegally in the country. Recently, there were large scale arrests in Tripura, Bharuch and Vadodara in Gujarat. Based on secret information at Agartala Railway Station in Tripura, four citizens in Bangladesh were arrested in the joint action of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) and intelligence agencies. The accused was identified as Zahuul Islam alias Zahir (42), Dilwar Hussain (44), Jamirul Islam, 27, and Mohammad Jia (35). Everyone entered India illegally and reached Agartala and was prepared to go to Bengaluru and Chennai. Police have recovered Indian currencies, smartphones and documents from their. A case is registered against the accused under the Code of Justice of India (BNS), the Indian Passport Act and the Foreign Civil Act. In a joint action of the local crime branch and sog in Bharuch, Gujarat, 29 citizens in Bangladesh were detained for illegal life. In addition, 150 suspected citizens were brought to the district police headquarters for questioning. About 30 police teams were deployed in this operation. The suspects were brought to the police headquarters on foot from the B -section.
