Trump has been linked as ‘Liberation Day’ for April 2 weeks, when he plans to impose a wide range of new rates that can increase the global trading system. The reciprocal rates, which aim to increase US manufacturing, can have major consequences for corporate earnings, global economy, inflation and the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve. Investors expect the long -awaited announcement of Wednesday to be decisive for the prospects for the global financial markets. They are also uncertain about what prices will swing and what will come next as negotiations can be eradicated. The White House said Tuesday that Trump will impose new rates on Wednesday without giving details about the size and scope of trade barriers. The tariffs on countries that impose duties on US goods will come into effect once Trump has announced it, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said, adding that a 25%tariff will perform on motor feed on April 3. Gold prices held near record heights on Wednesday after rising to a peak of the peak in the previous session, as investors awaited details of President Trump’s tariff plans. Spot gold rose 0.3% to $ 3,119.26 per ounce by 1205 GMT. US gold futures also achieved 0.3% to $ 3,155.80. Spot Silver rose slightly to $ 33.76, while platinum dropped 0.1% to $ 978.71, and palladium fell by 0.1% to $ 984.75.
