According to railway officials, two coaches of the goods train derailed Tuesday morning as they entered the Belgavi Railway Station. According to Hubli’s assistance railroad officials, the accident occurred on the track ahead of the military Mahadev temple on the Belagavi Congressional Road. The goods train went to miraj in Maharashtra. The South Western Railway (SWR) said in a statement that accident relief train was sent to the place to speed up the repairs. At the same time, the necessary arrangements were made at the stations for the passengers affected by the accident. Railway police have begun investigating SWR general manager and other senior officials monitor the situation carefully. Root recovery is in progress.
