Aadhaar -verification crossed 150 billion transactions
New -Delhi, May 17 (IANS). The central government has given information that the total number of Aadhaar authority transaction has crossed the 150 billion (15.011.82 crore) figure, which is an important achievement. In addition, the E-KYC transactions done during April were 37.3 crore, which is 39.7 percent more than the E-KYC transaction for the same period last year. The Ministry of Electronics and it is said that the cumulative number of E-KYC transactions crossed 2.393 crore by April 30. The ministry said it is a milestone in the visit of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and the broad base ecosystem. Aadhaar-based certification plays an important role in making life easier, effective welfare distribution and voluntary services offered by service providers. The ministry said that in April only about 210 crore base verification transactions were performed, which is about 8 percent more than this month in 2024. In the home, developed artificial intelligence-masin-based base-facing verification solutions by Uidai are constantly popular. In April, there were about 14 crore transactions suggesting that it takes this certification method and provides easy benefits for the Aadhaar number holders. The ministry said that more than 100 institutions in both the government and the private sector FAC verification use for profit and smooth distribution of services. Aadhaar was a strong medium of digital economy, and the growing number of adoption shows the growing role in various areas, including banking, finance, telecommunications. It is also used for the smooth distribution of benefits among different government schemes and services. On April 21, Uidai received the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration.
