A fierce fire broke out in the scrap godown in Baddi

A fierce fire broke out this morning by a local resident on a nearby farm in a junk house in Chakka Road in Baddi. The presence of flammable substances such as chemical rich drums, corrugated boxes, plastic, copper, aluminum, etc. Illuminate the fire. The wind flags spread the fire further. Smoking was raised from the scene. People said that the flammable junk was spread in the stack outside because the warehouse was empty. Home watch commander Santosh Sharma said three Baddi fire trucks and two Nalagarh fire trucks reached the place to put out the fire. Fire employees assessed a loss of Rs 20 Lakh, as a large part of the junk was burned. Although the fire was controlled a few hours later, three fire trucks were stationed there as a precaution, as chemicals were constantly smoldering. At least half of the three Bigha warehouses were destroyed, although the fireworks saved the fire to spread by forming a division. This is the second incident in Baddi this month that exposes the lack of precautions by traders to save flammable pieces. This type of fire causes a loss of millions, as well as environmental pollution is also significantly increased as a large amount of toxic waste is burned. Share this story -tags
