A Brazilian judge freezes the "Starlink" accounts and undertakes to stop "X"
The effects of the confrontation between Elon Musk and the Judge of the Brazil High Court have increased to stretch to the US billionaire enterprises, where the judge promised to close the “X” platform, and the banks of “Starlink” in the largest economy in Latin America. Supreme Court Judge Alexander de Morais leads the efforts to combat fake news and hate speech in Brazil. Mask and the Yemenians in the country, including former President Gayer Bolsonaro, say the judge goes beyond his powers and undermines freedom of expression. Morais issued the order to freeze the bank accounts of the Isis provisional “Starlink” on August 18, according to the local news website “G1”, in an attempt to force mask to set up the social media platform “X”. A person familiar with the situation in the Supreme Court confirmed the report. Starlink says it has a quarter of a million customers in Brazil. The Brazil High Court did not comment on the report. Mask Al -qadi attacked and described him as “a criminal who pretends to be a judge” in a post on the ‘X’ platform in which he indicated that both companies are placing in the country. ‘Starlink’ confirmed in a series of publications on ‘X’, the social media platform, formerly known as ‘Twitter’, that an order of Morais frozen the financial affairs of the company and prevented them from carrying out financial transactions in Brazil. The company said: “This case is based on an unfounded decision that (Starlink) should be responsible for the fines imposed – unconstitutional – against (x),” adds that it intends to “legally handle the matter”. Morais threatened to ban ‘X’ in Brazil on Wednesday if the company did not appoint a legal representative in the country by Thursday (yesterday). The decision comes days after the platform announced that it would close its operations in Brazil, while the service is available to its active users, who are 20 million in the country. Musk responded to the case created by artificial intelligence, apparently on a man who looks like Morais behind bars. He wrote on a post: “One day, Alexander, this image that shows you in prison will be really … remember my words.”
