The UAE begins an Arabic model of artificial intelligence to compete in the Middle East

A research arm from the Abu Dhabi government has launched a new and strong model of artificial intelligence in the Arab language, in an attempt to preserve its technological superiority to competitors in the Middle East. The new application, called “Falcon Arabic”, is trained in a set of data that includes classical Arab and regional dialects. The Institute of Technology Innovation, attached to the Abu Dhabi government and the supervisor of the development of “Falcon”, says that the new model corresponds to the performance of other models that exceeds it ten times. The Institute also introduced the “Falcon H1” model, a small model, which, according to him, exceeds similar models from the “Meta” and “Ali baby” businesses. Middle East enterprises evaluate the costs in the midst, as in other markets, businesses reconsider the feasibility of the high cost to build advanced models of artificial intelligence from scratch. New versions of “Falcon” reflect the UAE’s insistence on consolidating its presence in the artificial intelligence breed. Although “Falcon” is still the most prominent model offered by the UAE, it has trouble retaining the progress of Open Source models of “Mita” and “Deep Sick” Chinese. In 2023, the Institute of Technological Innovation boasts that the artificial intelligence system is first arranged under Open Source models on the Heaching Face platform, which is one of the most important indicators that carefully monitor the sector. Until last month, Falcon was not one of the 500 best models in the classification list on the platform, according to Bloomberg earlier. The basis of its users is still much lower compared to ‘dead’ models and other competitors. The vague expands its investment in the structure of artificial intelligence. “G42”, the Emirati Giant Technology Company, recently announced plans to establish a 5 GB data center in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with a number of US businesses. MGX Investment Company, founded in partnership with “G42”, is working with “Invidia” and a number of French businesses to determine what is expected to be the largest complex of artificial intelligence data in Europe. MGX also supported artificial intelligence developers in the United States, including Openai and Xai (Xai), which is attached to Elon Musk.
