TSMC begins to build its third factory in Arizona to expand its presence in America
Taiwan September Manufacturing Company (TSMC) began building its third factory in Arizona, in an effort to accelerate its expansion in the United States, at a time when President Donald Trump’s administration threatened to set up additional customs duties to stimulate local manufacturing. The company, the largest advanced Chip Industry Company in the world, announced the third phase of its expansion in the United States on the same day that Howard Lootnick, Minister of Trade, toured the company’s website, which described it as the largest foreign investment in the history of the United States. Taiwan is the most important supplier of Apple and Invidia, and it is the cornerstone of the US government’s efforts to manufacture the country. ‘Bloomberg’ said Lootnick hinted that he could obscure the granting of the ‘disk law’ in which they were prepared, unless the qualifying companies expanded to get federal support their projects in the United States. Last March, CEC CEO joined Trump at the White House to announce an extra $ 100 billion investment plan in the company’s factories in the United States, which will improve production on US land. This investment is added to $ 65 billion in the previously planned investments by the “Taiwan sector industry” business in the US, and the number of company bolarts in the United States is expected to reach six factories to produce advanced chips, in addition to a number of other advanced packaging factories.
