HCA breaks silence on SRH that claims 'extortion, threats' over ticket -claims

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) convened a meeting with Sunrisers Hyderabad officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stage on Tuesday in response to the reports that the franchise accused the president of the state of the state of blackmail. SRH representatives Kiran, Saravanan and Rohit Suresh attended the meeting. SRH will play their next home game against GT on April 6 (PTI) on Sunday. Cricbuzz reported that the SRH team, owned by the Chennai-based Sun Group, claims that HCA President Jagan Mohan Rao has repeatedly resolved “extortion tactics” over the ticket claims. The franchise even sought the help of BCCI and the IPL Control Council. “This is the HCA president, Mr. Jagan Mohan Rao, who uses threats, coercion and extortion. Even before the IPL began, Rao threatened our staff with compulsion, who wrote to him in return for fear and wrote the threat he made,” sent a recent SRH Communique. SRH even accused Rao of closing the entire corporate boxing hours before the match against Lucknow Super Giants on March 27, despite the fact that the zone was discussed for LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka. “It was done just to press us off and put compulsion on us to give another 20 free tickets before the game,” the e -mail says. However, HCA denied the allegations on Tuesday. “During the discussions, SRH suggested that the existing Tri-Party agreement between SRH, HCA and BCCI be strictly adhered to, ensuring that 10% of the available stadium capacity is allocated in all divisions accordingly. HCA, in turn, which has the existing allocation of passes in each category,” HCA. After further summit with SRH CEO Shanmugam, there were agreed on three resolutions: 1. The category of 3900 complimentary passes to HCA will remain unchanged, in accordance with established practice. 2. HCA has assured SRH that they will fully work with SRH in a professional way. 3. HCA and SRH remain committed to working together kindly to improve the spectator experience at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
