Arshad Nadeem from Pakistan is hated and abused to invite Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem to NC Classic

Indian Spear Throw star Verdaj Chopra said on Friday that he had faced “hatred and abuse” due to the invitation of Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem to the NC Classic held in Bengaluru next month. He made it clear that the presence of the Olympic champion after the Pahalgam terror attack was “completely impossible”. The Olympic gold medalist of the Tokyo and the silver winner of the Paris games Haryana said he was very sad to see that he and his family’s honesty were being questioned in a derogatory post on social media. Chopra has Nadem, who won the gold medal by defeating Indian in Paris last year, for the first Voernaj Chopra Classic held in Bengaluru on May 24. “Whatever has happened for the past 48 hours, the presence of Arshad in NC Classic was completely impossible. My country and its interests will always come first,” Chopra, who is the subedar major in the Indian army, said in a long post on X. “Those who do the loss of their people, my condolences and prayers are with them.
