Niharika, who was angry with her husband Ghanim Ali and her family, approached Bhopal police again and accused them of pressure, physical abuse and threats for repentance. The first complaint was filed with the police on May 31, 2024. After this, Niharika, who became frustrated and constantly harassing, again approached the police and explained in detail about the misconduct to her. Due to the pressure and physical harassment registered against the accused man, Niharika stays with her family member’s home in Delhi, but her in bearings still threatens her on the phone and some of her personal videos make viral on social media. When the police investigated the woman’s complaint, it was found that her husband was an accused in the case, after which a firy freedom of religion was registered.
