1984 Sikh Riot Case: Important evidence in court against Jagdish Tytler, CD of proof
New -Delhi, April 21 (IANS). Jagdish Tytler, who is accused of killing three Sikhs in the Anti -Sikh riots in 1984, was heard in court in Delhi. Senior lawyer Harvinder Singh Phoolka shared the latest information on the matter. Phulka reported that Tytler was accused of leding a crowd during the 1984 riots, which killed and burned three Sikhs. He said that the CD of an important stinging operation was presented in court during the hearing of the case, which increased Tytler’s problems. This CD was presented to the CBI by Manjit Singh GK, former head of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Praband Hak Committee. In this CD recorded in 2012, Tytler allegedly claims he killed 100 Sikhs. Phulka goes on to say that Tytler also says in the CD that he will become the chief minister of Delhi and that he appoints the Supreme Court judges. His power is so much that no one can spoil them. This CD was carried out in court and sent to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) for investigation. CFSL witness confirmed in court that the CD is EC and that Tytler’s voice is in line with the sample. Phulka said that Manjit Singh GK testified during the hearing, in which he told the CD. Tytler’s advocates discuss this CD. Phulka said the matter was reinforced by this CD and evidence. Tytler’s cross exam will be held on April 29. So far, eight witnesses have been testified in this case, while the rest of the Witnesses are still evidence. Phulka hopes that a decision will come to the case by the end of this year.
