In the midst of the emphasis on SP's PDA, Mayawati has criticized her leaders for using Dalits as 'political weapons'

Bahujan Samaj -Party (BSP) heads, Mayawati, accused her leaders on Thursday of exploiting Dalits for political profits under the guise of their recent PDA (backward, Dalit, Minority) campaign under the guise of their recent PDA (backward, dalit, minority). This comment from the BSP chief came amid the effort of the SP to strengthen the support between backward classes, Dalits and minorities in Uttar Pradesh. In several posts on social media platform X, Mayawati said that such as SP, other parties, trying to attract our tension and violence by using Dalit people as political weapons. He wrote in the post: “It is known that the Samajwadi party, like other parties, is trying to create an atmosphere of tension and violence by placing Dalit people in front of his party. The controversial statements, accusations and programs offered under this strategy reflect their deep, selfish political goals.” The BSP chief warned Dalits as well as backward and Muslim communities not to get caught up in SP’s movements. He wrote, “SP can go to any extent for Dalit votes. Dalites as well as backward and Muslim society should also avoid being victims of their political movements.” In her third post, Mayawati did not advise to attack the great men of another society and, instead, asked to focus on the education of Dalits about their history. He mentions the controversy arising from the remarks by SP’s Rajput ruler Rana Sanga by SP Rajya Sabha -LP Ramji Lal Suman. He said: “At the same time, instead of commenting on the history of others associated with such parties, if you make people aware of the saints, gurus and great men and their struggle in their society, it would be appropriate, because that is why people become truly competent.” Share this story -tags
