Arjun Ram Meghwal surrounded the congress at Waqf Law and accused him of giving common color
Udaipur, April 20 (IANS). Union Minister Arjun Singh Meghwal responded to the Waqf (Amendment Act) on Sunday. He accused the country’s most important opposition party congress of spreading confusion over the law and giving it common color. He said that when an affirmative step is taken, the opposition tries to give him common color. Union Minister Arjunram Meghwal reached Udaipur on Sunday amid political noise across the country over the amendment of the WAQF Act. He did this tour under the Waqf Reformation Janajagaran Abhiyan organized under the national program of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Meghwal perished with representatives of the Muslim society and held a detailed discussion on aspects related to the law. The program was arranged by UDAIPur City District BJP. Several senior BJP officials and enlightened people were present with Meghwal. In this dialogue, the people of the Muslim community questioned the amendments related to WAQF properties, answered by the Minister of Legislation, Arjun Ram Meghwal. In his speech, Meghwal specially attacked the opposition at the congress. He said: “When a corrective step is taken, the opposition tries to give it a common color. Congress only does politics, while the BJP government prefers transparency and social importance.” Arjunram Meghwal made it clear that the amended Safety and Transparent operation of WAQF properties was directed. He said: “The congress spreads the illusion that this amendment is beyond the jurisdiction of parliament.
