Haryana: accused of sexual harassment of air gas woman arrested in private hospital ICU
Gurugram, April 18 (IANS). Police arrested the accused on Friday in a case of sexual harassment of the hostess in the ICU of a private hospital in Gurugram, Haryana. The accused was arrested after the footage of at least 800 CCTV cameras was installed inside and outside the hospital. The accused was identified as 25 -year -old Deepak, a resident of Muzaffarpur in Bihar. He has worked as a technician for treatment machines in the ICU of the hospital for the past five months. A police officer said the accused would be produced in court on Saturday and that the police would claim his supervision for further investigation. An official related to the case said that the accused who was arrested from the Sadar police station on Friday acknowledged his crime. Arpit Jain, DCP (headquarters), said: “Eight police teams investigated the incident, investigating the footage of 800 CCTV cameras installed in the hospital and about 50 hospital staff, including doctors, questioned the incident. Earlier, Thursday, the Gurugram police commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora had a seat for the identity and arrest of the accused. The SIT which existed chaired by DCP Jain consisted of eight different police teams, which received special instructions to collect information and evidence regarding the incident. The 46 -year -old air woman claimed in his complaint that he was sexually harassed on April 6 while staying at the intensive medical unit (ICU) of a famous private hospital in Gurugram.
