From consumption to production, the market for electronic game industry in the kingdom is currently estimated at approximately 130 million dollars, according to Hisham Al -khulaifi, president of the Royal Maroccan Federation for Electronic Games. But he said that the number could increase significantly in the coming years as a result of the development that this industry has seen worldwide and locally in the light of the presence of local businesses to develop video games and the great demand of young people. The first exhibition seeks to give the opportunity for small and medium -sized businesses working in this industry to build partnerships with banks, government financial institutions and foreign enterprises to mobilize investments more, knowing that this industry is estimated at about $ 300 billion. It was striking that a number of Chinese and Korean businesses developed for video games in the exhibition, and their officials held meetings with the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Communications. “We will explore the Moroccan market and we can decide to invest locally within the next year in the development of video games,” Kong Ming, Korean company business manager, Actoz Tech, told Al -Sharq.
