The presence of Premier Modi made Navkar Mahamantra Day historic, Jain Society made proud
Ahmedabad, April 10 (IANS). Vishwa Navkar Mahamantra Day, celebrated in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, became a historic and proud moment for the Jain Society. Former chairman of the Jain International Trade Organization (Jito), Ganpatraj Chaudhary, and JATF Protection Member and Director of Welmark Group, Tejraj Gulecha, made emotional reactions to the event. Ganpatraj Chaudhary told the news agency that Premier Modi’s involvement in the case reflects the Jain culture, its values and his deep faith in spirituality. He said: “It is a symbol of Mahamantra Samabha, peace and compassion. The respect of the prime minister of the world scene is a matter of pride, not only for the Jain society, but also for the whole of India.” Chaudhary also said that the prime minister talked so deeply about the Navkar mantra that many people of the Jain society didn’t know that much about it. He said: “It is a matter of great pride for us that the person who leads the country understands our spiritual heritage with so much reverence and respect.” Tejraj Gulecha also appreciated the humility and rituals of the prime minister. He said: “When the prime minister came to our program, he took out his shoes in the car, it is a symbol of his Indian culture and respect for every religion. He has a deep understanding of all religions because he grew up in Sanatan rituals.” He said that this event not only gave a new identity to the Jain Society, but that the participation of the Prime Minister also gave it particular importance at international level. Lalit Kumar Dangi, secretary and chairman of Libord Group, Jito, said that Prime Minister’s knowledge and belief in Jainism and Navkar -Mantra are inspiring. Dangi said: ‘Prime Minister Modi stayed in contact with Jain Saints for 14 years as the chief minister of Gujarat. He participated in many Jain events and worked with the saints and deeply understood the Jain principles.
