Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Mumbai President Sandeep Deshpande described the extradition of Tahwwur Rana, who is accused of the 26/11 Mumbai attack, as a great achievement of India. He spoke to Ians and said that Rana was brought from America to India, for which he praised the Modi government. Sandeep said: “Mumbai has not forgotten the 26/11 attack so far. The attack has become panicked. Now one of his major accused, Tehwwur Rana, who was in the US prison, is brought to India by extradition. This is a matter of pride for our country.” He further said that Rana was not only brought here because he showed it, but that legal action would be taken against him.
