Bad overview of fired working costs boss their work as the position remains empty | Today news

A company allegedly fired a manager after not filling a junior position that remained vacant since last year. The vacancy was left by a former employee who, after being fired, posted a detailed Glassdoor review that struck the leadership of the company. “I wrote a Glassdoor review on a job from which I was fired last year, so rogue that they couldn’t fill the post,” the former executive assistant said in a position on social media. They added: “The board intervened and fired my manager because people brought points from my review in interviews.” The review, dated August 10, 2024, told a bitter work experience at a New York Workers’ Association. The employee claims that they did not receive adequate training, which made it difficult to understand their responsibilities and tasks, which led to avoidable errors. According to the review, management was unfit, to control and could not provide constructive feedback, creating a toxic work environment. The communication within the business was poor and untimely, the employee said. This caused confusion and they eventually lacked deadlines. On one occasion they said, “I don’t spend all day in my inbox.” The review continued: “There was a complete absence of goal mapping and strategic planning with my role. I did not get clear targets to pursue, which made it difficult to measure progress or success. This lack of direction made it difficult to stay motivated and understand how my work contributed to the company’s overall goals.” Livemint was unable to confirm the authenticity of the post. The employee left a 2-star rating for their former employer on Glassdoor and advised to take the role they previously played. They have listed numerous disadvantages without mentioning any benefits. The organization currently has an overall rating of 2.9 out of 5, with only about one -third of the judges approving the CEO.
