Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in a written response in the Rajya Sabha that instructions had been issued to provide emergency medicine, including life -saving medicine and equipment in all railway stations and trains. The decision was made following the recommendations of a committee of experts compiled in Aiims, New -Delhi, following the Supreme Court’s order. The case arose in the home when BJP -LP Rayaga Krishnaiah asked whether the government had conducted any study or survey over the past five years regarding the establishment of medical medical centers in railway stations and passengers trains across the country.
