The ceremony in honor of the artists in New York High School was held on May 23.

Sophia O’Brien, of Fordham Preparatory School, and Liam Ginsburg, of Pelham Memorial High School, were named the best actress and best actor on the 12th annual respectively Roger Rees Awards May 23.
The Roger Rees Awards, called in memory of the Tony award-winning actor and director, best honoring the NYC area high school theater, with his best actor and actress winners participating in the National High School Musical Theater Awards, known as the Jimmy Awards, which was presented in Broadway’s Minkoff Teat on June 27.
O’Brien was recognized for her actions as Éponine in Fordham’s The miserableand Ginsburg was recognized for his Billy Cane in Pelham Bright star.
Saydie Grossman and Davey Fried, who also received awards, also received awards, who were recognized as emerging actress and actor for their performances as Sandra Bloom and Davey Fried, respectively in Big fish. Both receive free education at Marymount Manhattan College’s Musical Theater Pre-College Summer Intensive. Roslyn’s Royal Crown players were also honored with the 2nd annual Harmony Helper Award for Excellence in Choral Group Performance.
The fourth annual Playbillder Award for Marketing, hosted by Playbill, was passed on to co-editors Rebecca Ploski and Serena Richmond for their work at the new Rochelle High School Theory of relativity. The award, First given in 2018recognition Playbillder.
Winners were selected by a panel of operating staff consisting of Disney in schools senior education artist Kiara Brown-Clark, actor-producer-recorded artist Darilyn Castillo, actor and founder of the stagnated workshops Jarvis B. Manning Jr. Merri Sugarman.
