Electronics Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Saturday after a meeting with Samsung CEO JB Park that the company continues to expand the construction of advanced equipment in India. The first factory was founded in 1996. Samsung erected its first global electronic manufacturing plant in India in 1996. Earlier this year, Samsung Electronics President TM Roh said the company started preparing for the construction of laptops in India. Samsung’s second largest mobile manufacturing unit in India is also worldwide and is India’s second largest performer of cellphone after Apple. Starting with the manufacture of iPhone-17 at Bangalore plant in Foxconn, the company Foxconn, Taiwan, also started the production of iPhone-17 at the Bengaluru plant. According to sources, its production was started on a small scale. Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of iPhones for Apple and the Bangalore plant is the second largest manufacturing center outside China. According to sources, Foxconn also builds the iPhone-17 at the Chennai plant. However, there is no answer to the email sent to Apple and Foxconn in this regard.
