In Jaipur, MP Raut asked: If there is no incident like repentance, why is the need for law? The government must tell the basis of the bill
LP Rajkumar Raut strongly opposed the Randing Bill proposed by the Rajasthan government. He demanded that the government clearly ask the basis for introducing this bill? He requested the government to tell a press conference to say how many cases of repentance so far have been registered in Rajasthan, which brings this bill. Mp Raut claims that no case of forced conversion is registered in Rajasthan according to the data available from him. He said that no one had filed a case stating that he was forcibly converted. He questioned that when no such incident came to light, why was this law needed? He calls it the formula of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which aims to create enmity between Muslims, tribes and backward communities. After the bill was said without data, the question, the MP Raut said that the government, despite the availability of concrete data, was in a hurry before the Cabinet. He said that any bill is brought only when relevant incidents occur in the state, but that no case is registered here. Nevertheless, the government has introduced the bill. He claims that cases of forced conversion are now registered in tribal areas so that the government can justify its policy. The MP also asked the government how many such cases were reported in the Cabinet ten years before this conversion law? He demanded that the government be announced the number of cases registered before January 2025. He claimed that the government had no concrete information about violent conversion, and put pressure on the tribal area officials to register cases of forced conversion and offer artificial data.
