There is no change in interest rates of the highlights for small savings scheme, after December 20123 the rates did not change, 7.1 percent interest will be received on the PPF. In fact, the government has made no changes in the interest rates of small savings schemes, including PPF for the second quarter (July-September) from 1 July. This is the sixth consecutive term when the government made no changes in interest rates to these small savings schemes. This means that current interest rates will remain unchanged in the second quarter of the current financial year 2025-26. This information was given in the notice issued by the Ministry of Finance. Earlier, in April-June (Q1FY26), January-March (Q4FY25), October-December (Q3FY25), July-September (Q2FY25) and April-June (Q1FY25), the interest rates of small savings schemes were not changed. The Ministry of Finance said in a notice: “Interest rates will remain unchanged at various small savings schemes in the quarter ends on 1 July 2025 and ends on September 30, 2025. 8.2 % 12 Small Saving Schemes have 12 small savings schemes.
