On April 2, at 12 noon, the Modi government is going to introduce the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. A day before this, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu gave his support to this bill, while in the late evening, Nitish Kumar’s party JDU also gave his consent on the bill. JDU and TDP have also released whip for their MPs and have asked to be present in parliamentary proceedings till 4 April. There is a huge contradiction regarding this bill in JDU. JDU leaders Ashfaq Karim, Ghulam Gaus and Minister Jaman Khan in the Nitish government have demanded to withdraw it. A day earlier, on the occasion of Eid, Ghulam Gaus also reached to meet RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. Since then, the market of speculation about them is hot.

Earlier, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh had said that when the bill comes in Parliament, JDU will clarify its side. He also said that Nitish Kumar does not need the certificate of the opposition to be secular. Apart from allies, the BJP has also asked all the MPs to be present in the Lok Sabha on April 2 for its MPs.
