New record in wheat acquisition in UP government, farmers get 2.508 crore payment

On the instructions of the main minister Yogi Adityanath, during the purchase of wheat, the purchase centers were open daily from 08:00 to 20:00. At the same time, even after reaching every village on vacation, the officers established contact with the farmers. Even during the Sunday holidays, the officials of the Department of Food and Logistics talked to the farmers and bought wheat through the mobile purchase center. The central government determined a minimum support price of Wheat (MSP) Rabi Marketing year 2025-26 for Rs 2,425-26. Last year, this price was Rs 2.275 per quintal. This time, the government increased to Rs 150 per quintal. The Food and Logistics Division made arrangements to pay the price of wheat directly through the Public Finance Management System (PFMS) to the Aadhaar link bill within 48 hours. This year, wheat was purchased from farmers by going to the towns through the mobile center.
