The share price of Jio Financial Services fell more than 1.5 percent on NSE in Thursday’s trading session due to the sales pressure. The shares of the financial services opened in Green early in the morning, but drove into a red and became a low to £ 285.30 per piece. Jio Financial Services Limited has announced that it has acquired 7,90,80,000 shares of Jio Payments Bank Limited (JPBL) of the State Bank of India for £ 104.54. The transaction received approval from the Reserve Bank of India on June 4, 2025. After the deal, Jio Payments Bank is now a full -fledged subsidiary of Jio Financial Services. Earlier, it functioned as a joint venture between Jio Financial Services and the State Bank of India (SBI). In March, Jio Financial unveiled its plans to acquire the 17.8 percent stake through SBI. The company recently made headlines due to the launch of multiple mutual fund scheme by Jio Blackrock Asset Management. This entity is a joint venture of 50:50 between Jio Financial Services and Blackrock, and it has obtained approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to start working as an investment manager for its mutual fund enterprise in the country. Jio Financial Services Q4 Results 2025 Jio Financial Services achieved a year-on-year increase in revenue for the fourth quarter of 18 percent, with a crore of £ 493.2, powered by a strong performance in lending, leasing and digital financial services. The company’s net profit for the March quarter rose 1.7 percent to £ 316, compared to £ 310.6 in the same period last year. A major highlight for the full year was the significant increase in assets under management (AUM), which rose to £ 1053 by March 31, 2025, from £ 173 from a year earlier. Jio Financial Services, rinsed from Reliance Industries Ltd, works in areas such as investment and financing, insurance brokers and provides services as a payment bank, payment agent and payment gate.
