Minimum temperature in delhi 7.6 degrees, air quality still 'serious'

New -delhi, December 24 (IANS). The Indian meteorological department said that the fog was overshadowed in the national capital on Sunday morning and that the minimum temperature reached 7.6 degrees Celsius. The air quality remains in the ‘serious category’ and doctors have advised senior citizens and children to avoid going out. The meteorological department predicted that the maximum temperature on Sunday is expected to be about 24 degrees Celsius, while the air is mainly clean. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality in Anand Vihar remains in the ‘serious’ category with PM 2.5 500 and PM 10 472, while No2 reached 124 or ‘medium’ level. PM 2.5 470 and PM 10 428 were recorded at Bawana station, both in the ‘serious’ category, while CO 108 or ‘medium’ level was reached. PM 2.5 500 and PM 10 467 were recorded at the AQI monitoring station in the Dwarka sector 8, both in the ‘serious’ category, while No2 was at 142 and CO was at 129, both at ‘medium’ level. The ITO station was in the ‘Gambhir’ category with the AQI PM 2.5 500 and PM 10 451, No 2 dropped to 118 and CO 141, both at ‘medium’ level. PM 2.5 and PM 10 500 were included in Okhla phase-2, both in the ‘Gambhir’ category. No2 was at 140 at 140. On the quality monitoring station of IGI Airport, PM 2.5 was recorded at 459 and PM 10 reached 411, both in the ‘serious’ category, while CO 122 reached the ‘medium’ category. -Ians SKP shares this story tags
