Jakarta – Deputy Minister of Social Affairs (Wamensos) Agus Jabo Priyono encouraged the strengthening of cross -sector synergy in an attempt to alleviate poverty in Indonesia. Agus Jabo added that the Ministry of Social Affairs is currently trying to realize the opening of 100 people’s schools in the new school year in July together with other ministries and institutions, including local governments. “We are assessing the regional government proposals, those who suggest the building, see if we judge, or the proposed place is a supplementary to increase the quota (100 points),” he said. In the future, the Ministry of Social Affairs, according to him, will continue to bring collaboration with various parties, including the campus, especially those in Central -Java in the context of the alleviation of poverty and the elimination of extreme poverty. “Education is a way of liberation to empower the poor, I hope that Boyolali University can be the pioneer,” he said.
