Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC told the Waqf Amendment Bill, the Council expressed the need to improve

Mumbai, April 1 (IANS). The WAQF Amendment Bill will be introduced in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. Earlier, opposition parties attack the government against this bill. Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC, while supporting the bill, emphasizes the need to improve the operation of the WAQF Council. Shaina NC said that unless there is transparency and responsibility in the Waqf Council or any other institution, questions will arise. The Waqf Council has been in chaos and shortcomings for many years, which affected its functioning. The board of directors had an ownership dispute and many other problems needed to solve. Shaina NC has seen this bill positively, saying that all these issues in the discussion in the Lok Sabha will be raised about it. Shaina NC said the WAQF Council required improvement, and this amendment will focus on issues that have caused problems in the first board. If this bill succeeds in the Lok Sabha, it will not only improve the operation of the board, but it will also get more representation for women, which is a positive step. He made it clear that the contradictions in the Waqf Council would be corrected and that the bill was part of the changes needed for the better operation of the institution. He described this bill as a welcome initiative, saying that its purpose is only to eliminate chaos and bring about more transparency. The Shiv Sena leader said he would be proud, as it would also be a big step to give women a proper representation in the WAQF board. This bill will be an affirmative step for the overall WAQF Board, which will improve the functionality of the institution and be more advantageous for all sections of society. -Ians PSM/Ekd shares this story -tags
