Nia arrested the KLF accused in Amritsar Temple Grenade Attack Case
New -delhi, May 22 (IANS). The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested an important collaborator of two terrorists associated with the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) in the case of a grenade attack on the temple held in the Amritsar district in March this year. The arrested accused was identified as Bhagwant Singh alias Manna Bhatti, who was arrested from the Akalgarh village in Amritsar on Wednesday. A total of four arrests have so far been made in this case. According to the NIA investigation, the terrorist attack was carried out by Gursrak Singh and Vishal. Both threw grenade into the Sanatan Temple by Thakur in Amritsar. The responsibility of this attack was taken by the banned terrorist organization KLF. After the attack, Gursiradak Singh died in a police encounter, while Vishal was arrested. In addition, Diwan Singh alias Sunny and Sahib Singh alias Saba were also arrested in this case. Investigation also revealed that Bhagwant Singh gave shelter to both the attackers during the attack. Grenade is hidden behind Bhagwant’s house, which he had complete knowledge. Investigations by NIA’s case RC-08/2025/NIA/DLI also revealed that terrorist funds were also transferred to Bhagwant Singh’s bank account. The NIA continues its investigation into the case and takes strict steps on the KLF network and its foreign contacts in India. Please tell that a temple was attacked in Amritsar late on March 15. The temple was attacked by two unidentified youths who rode on a motorcycle with a grenade by Thakur in Khandwala area. The whole incident was caught in a CCTV camera outside the temple.
