66 security personnel stranded due to sudden floods in Lahaul-Spiti

Officials said on Tuesday that 66 security personnel were trapped due to a sudden flood near the bush camp, 8 km from the Tindi police post in Lahaul and Spiti, including 29 women’s constables and 37 constables. All of them traveled in two IRBN buses and three HRTC buses. According to Keylong’s DSP Raj Kumar, Tindi police reported the incident to the SP office on Tuesday. Staff who acted immediately sent the staff of the rescue teams and the Border Roads Organization (Bro) to the place. He said: “When he reached the place, it was found that the flow of water was very fast, which made it impossible to clean the road at night or resume the movement of vehicles.
