Bihar’s energy sector achieved an important achievement. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated on Thursday and laid the groundstone of various power projects that cost Rs 6204.65 crore in Madhubani. These projects include the strengthening and modernization of the power distribution system in Bihar at a cost of Rs 5030.74 crore under the Revolutionary Distribution Area (RDSS), which will ensure more quality, continuous and uninterrupted power supply to the state consumers. In addition, Rs. 100 Crore calls were corrected for residential electrification, construction of 59 new power stations and the strengthening of the Patna power distribution system in 62 towns of the Eastern region. In addition, the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 1173.91 crore was also laid. These projects are an important step towards strengthening the power infrastructure in the state, which will benefit consumers in both urban and rural areas. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan was present at the event; Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar; Union Panchayati Raj Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh; Apart from deputy head ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, there were also other dignitaries present at the event.
