Mountain forests occur in areas with the height of Himalayas and western ghats where the temperature is low. Trees become smaller with increasing height in the mountainous forests. The trees of oak, cedar and Sunobar occur frequently. Medicinal plants are also found in these forests. 5. The marshy forest These forests are found in an area where the water is always full.
