Kangana will work with the government to implement central schemes
Kangana’s local MP Kangana Ranaut will work with the government on the implementation of central schemes, chair of the meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) here, in which the progress of the central government has been reviewed. He said he was committed to ensuring the timely and effective implementation of the central schemes and that the state government would receive full support in this regard. Kangana emphasizes the importance of timely implementation of infrastructure projects. He developed the continued construction of Kiratpur-Manali and Mandi-Pathankot Four Lane Highways by the National Highways Authority of India (Nhai) as well as Hamirpur-Mandi via Kotli Two Lane Road developed by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. He instructed the officials concerned to ensure that these projects were completed on time and that the locals should be solved during the construction problems. He expressed dissatisfaction with the absence of the Nhai project director at the meeting. He assessed the progress of roads and bridges under the construction under the Central Road Fund (CRF) implemented by the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSy) phase III and the Department of Public Works. He requested the officials to accelerate these works and ensure that they were completed without delay. Kangana instructed the departments to run an awareness campaign and encourage public participation to ensure proper removal of waste in both rural and urban areas. He said that updates on the issues raised at the meeting should be shared with them in time. Kangana instructed the sports division to prepare a detailed report under the Khelo India program to expand sports activities in the area. He also reviewed the work done under the MP Local Area Development (Mplad) scheme and other central schemes implemented by the state government. He said that politics should not be made on the payment of electricity bills. ‘I don’t manage a factory in my home, for which I received an electricity bill of about 1 lakh calls. It is very strange that I did not get more than 5,000 rupees until last year, which has now increased to about 1 lakh rupes. Share these story plates
