Heavy rain, thunderstorms in many parts of Himachal Pradesh

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) office in Shimla predicted light to moderate rain and snowfall in many parts of Himachal Pradesh from 18 to 20 April, while heavy rains are likely to receive heavy rainfall in various places in moderate and high mountainous areas. Rainfall is also expected in the plains during this period. Along with the rain, there is a possibility of rain, lightning shines and strong winds with a speed of 40-50 km/h. Moderate rainfall is expected in many places, especially in high areas of Lahaul spiti, Kinnraur and Chamba and Kullu, will probably receive moderate to high rain. In addition, the remaining parts of Kangra, Shimla, Mandi and Chamba and Kullu are expected to receive an intense rainfall with light to moderate rainfall. A similar weather is expected to stay in Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Solan and Syrma districts, where a moderate rainfall can occur.
