Power reduction case on Ram Navami in Jharkhand: Supreme Court has carried out the office of the State Government against the command of the Supreme Court

New -delhi/Ranchi, April 8 (IANS). The Supreme Court on Tuesday carried out the state government’s special consent petition (SLP) which contested the Supreme Court order in the case related to power supply during Ramnavami and other festivals in Jharkhand. The Jharkhand High Court recently held the pill based on self -investigation and banned the instructions of the state government from completely stopping the power source at the Shobha Yatra at festivals. The state government has filed a petition with the Supreme Court on this Supreme Court order. The government argued in the petition that the long flags used in the march during Ramnavami and other festivals are at risk for electrical accidents, so the power supply is closed as a precaution. A bank led by Chief Justice of India Sanjeev Khanna amended the Supreme Court order on April 4 while hearing it. The Supreme Court said electricity could be cut from the security point of view during the festivals, but the minimum period must be set for it. Electricity should only be subtracted in the area for a short time. The Apex Court also said that essential services such as the hospital should not be influenced by power cuts in any situation. The case was again rented in the Bank of Justice Shev Khanna and Justice Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday. On behalf of the Jharkhand government, senior lawyer Kapil Sibal said that the state power distribution company Jharkhand Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited had cut only the optographs, according to the court’s instructions. He said that an affidavit will soon be filed by the managing director of JBVNL to follow the court’s instructions. The Point Court executed the petition after hearing these arguments. -Ians snc/Ekd shares these story -tags
