For its part, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed the details of the incident, explaining that the video was filmed inside the Menoufia Governorate.

The ministry said, in a statement on its official Facebook page, that the photography site was inside a plot of land attached to a mobile circus located in the scope of the Shebin El -Koum Police Station Department, and this space is used as a area dedicated to slaughtering animals.

The security services indicated that the person in charge of the incident was interrogated, who admitted that the slaughtering process was made with the aim of providing food for predators such as lions, which are involved in circus shows.

The authorities confirmed that the slaughter was carried out without any health supervision or supervision from the competent authorities, and the necessary legal measures were taken against those responsible for the incident.
