She died after she allegedly refused to be admitted to a private hospital
Police said a student of a medical college in Patna was allegedly refused to recruit after a road accident that died in a private hospital on Thursday. The deceased student was identified as Abhinav Pandey, a second -year student at the Government of Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS). Earlier this week, he was injured when his motorcycle hit the road divider. According to the allegations, he was refused to be admitted to Igims and had to be admitted to a private hospital. Shortly after the news of Abhinav’s death, protests began Thursday at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. A student told Ani: ‘Abhinav was injured in an accident three days ago. ” When he returned to the university in an injured state, he did not get a bed. So we took him to Paras Hospital. His condition was good on the first day, but his condition began to deteriorate the next day. Then he died in the hospital. ‘ Pti quoted a police officer and said: “We visited the Igims campus to bring the situation under control. We cannot comment much on the student’s death, as no written complaint was given in this regard.” However, the protesting students said on condition of anonymity: “Our most important complaint is that Abhinav, whose bike collided with the road divisor earlier this week, was banned from recruiting for her injuries, despite being a student in Igims. We had to take her to a private hospital due to no alternative.” Share this story -tags
