It has previously been reported that The Tony Awards were back to Radio City Music Hall in 2025 (June 8, 2025), but now more is revealed about the Tony schedule of this season.

April 27, 2025 was named the cut-off of this season, which means productions must be opened between April 25, 2024 and 27 April 2025 to be eligible for the 2025 Tony Awards. Currently the latest opening night is Roundabout Theater Company The Pirates or Penzancewhich will be opened on April 24, 2025. This leaves behind three days of opening nights for not announcing productions or not revealing the opening night dates – expecting all the slots to be filled for too long.

Nominations are directly announced on 1 May 2025 at a time and place to be announced. Playbill will cover the announcement directly.

The Tony Awards are available directly on CBS on June 8, and will be on paramount+stream, subscribers at the showtime level, and on request for subscribers at the essential level from June 9. The CBS broadcast is directly on both coasts, which are 8-11 hours ET and 5-8 pm pt (see local list).
